Bread Share Subscription (Port Townsend pickup)
Receive a woodfired, sourdough loaf every week! The Bread Share subscription offers our local community a way to eat a rotating seasonal menu of nutritious and delicious sourdough loaves made with organic, regionally-grown, freshly stonemilled grains. You pick up your loaf every Wednesday at the Uptown Courtyard in Port Townsend.
The beauty of the Bread Share is that it gives the bakers a chance to experiment with different recipes and to stretch their creative dough. Some of the loaves may have an addition like seeds, herbs, dried fruit or nuts. This gives you, our eaters, a diversity of delicious loaves to discover and a direct connection to the farm-mill-bakery that is feeding you.
IMPORTANT!:We have updated our payment model to an auto-renewing subscription. Sign up with your credit card and you will be automatically entered into the following month’s Bread Share unless you cancel. See the notes below for the updated protocol. This subscription model will be more sustainable for us to manage. Thank you for being Bread Share members!
HOW IT WORKS:
We’ve updated our procedure to an ongoing subscription model! This makes it easier to manage since once you sign up, your bread will just keep coming until you cancel. Read on for details.
Sign up now with a monthly payment of $36 and you’ll get a weekly loaf delivered every Wednesday to the Uptown Courtyard in Port Townsend.
The average cost per loaf is $9, acknowledging the variety of special ingredients and loaf styles offered throughout the Bread Share. This is based on 50 loaves baked and shared during the 12 month calendar year (with two weeks off for bakers holidays).
Delivery to Port Townsend members begins the first Wednesday of the month following your sign up. You will receive an email when it’s time to pick-up!
Your subscription will automatically renew and your credit card get charged monthly while you remain a member.
If you’d like to cancel your subscription for the month ahead, you will need to do so by either your billing date or no later than the 25th of the month by logging into your customer account to do so. If you cannot pick up one week, we encourage you give your loaf to a friend or to notify us that you’d like to donate your bread to our ‘Neighbor Loaves’ food access project. There are no refunds on missed loaves.
