Join us for our quarterly "open barn" event when we roll up the barn doors and offer a tasting tour of Chimacum Valley Grainery's organic family farm, stone mill, wood fired bakery, malthouse and craft micro-brewery.

The Grainery is a community-scaled, vertically integrated organic farm and grain processing operation-- working to restore a heartfelt and deeply lived continuity between the landscape, our community and our sustenance.  We grow diverse, locally-adapted, climate resilient, certified organic grains on 100+ acres of Chimacum's rich valley bottom soils. Our grains are selected for restored flavor and wholesomeness, and supply our community with a potent source of nutrition that does not rely on summer irrigation, nor on year-round refrigeration. Chimacum Valley Grainery's products include: stone-milled flours, wholesome pasta, sourdough bread, traditionally floor malted grain and farmhouse beer.  

Located at the end of a country road in Chimacum’s Center Valley, the Grainery is not usually open to the public and this seasonal "open barn" event is a rare opportunity to see the many facets of the operation. $30 per person includes a guided progressive-style tour of the Grainery's milling, malting, baking and brewing operations; while enjoying beer tasting, bread samples and other baked goodies along the way. 

You will have an additional opportunity to pre-order and purchase a special loaf of sourdough bread, a jar of sourdough starter, and/or canned beer or growlers.
