5 Gallon Bucket of Biochar

$22.00

A BUCKET OF BIOCHAR BRINGS A BOUNTY OF BENEFITS!

Order a 5 gallon bucket of locally reclaimed biochar for use in your home composting system or for other beneficial home uses.

*Buckets are food grade and locally recycled

Biochar can be added in small amounts (scattered by the tablespoon) to a counter top compost bucket to reduce odors in your home and this material can then be blended into your backyard composting process to add the beneficial qualities of biochar for long term soul building and carbon sequestration.

WHAT IS BIOCHAR?

A charcoal-like material made from organic waste or biomass, such as wood, created through a process called pyrolysis, which involves heating organic material to high temperatures in a low-oxygen environment.Biochar has been used for several thousand years to enhance soil.

OLYMPIC BIOCHAR is sourced from WA regional forestry by-products and reclaimed construction/demo wood*; transformed through pyrolysis and quenched with water to create a pure, consistent, high carbon, low-ash content biochar.

*This product has been third-party tested per International Biochar Initiative (IBI) certification standards for heavy metals, toxins, carbon & water content and particle size. Shared by request.

PNW Biochar Products For Bioremediation, Soil Sustainability and Carbon Sequestration
